Newcastle Reject Liverpool’s £110m Offer for Isak as Transfer Battle Heats Up

Newcastle United have rejected a £110 million offer from Liverpool for their star striker, Alexander Isak, as the transfer saga surrounding the Swedish forward intensifies.

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool’s bid included additional performance-based add-ons but still fell short of Newcastle’s valuation. The Magpies are reportedly holding out for at least £150 million, determined to keep the 25-year-old beyond this summer.

Despite the rejection, Liverpool are said to be preparing a second bid, as they continue their search for a marquee signing to bolster their attacking line ahead of the new season.

Meanwhile, Isak is currently training alone in Spain at his former club Real Sociedad’s facilities. Officially, Newcastle claim he is recovering from a minor thigh injury, but sources suggest the striker is pushing for a move away from St James’ Park.

Isak’s absence from Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia has only fuelled speculation that he is eager to make a switch before the transfer window closes.

As the clock ticks, all eyes are on Liverpool’s next move—and whether Newcastle will be willing to part ways with one of their most prized assets.
