NIGERIA JOINS GLOBAL PUSH FOR PLASTIC INNOVATION AS SARSOLI HEADS TO GERMANY FOR K 2025
Africa’s voice in the global plastics conversation is growing louder — and Nigeria is leading the charge.
From October 8 to 15, 2025, the world’s largest plastics and rubber exhibition, K 2025, will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, and once again, Nigeria’s own Sarsoli Industries will be flying the flag high.
Themed “The Power of Plastics: Green, Smart, Responsible,” this prestigious fair gathers over 3,000 exhibitors and 220,000 visitors from more than 160 countries. It is the ultimate platform for unveiling game-changing innovations, forging partnerships, and debating the future of plastics.
Sarsoli Industries, a Nigerian manufacturer known for its high-performance masterbatch solutions, will be attending for the fourth consecutive time, proving that African companies are no longer just participants — they are key contributors to the global push for sustainability and innovation.
“K has always connected us with decision-makers who understand innovation and value sustainability,” said Jaiprakash Changrani, Managing Director of Sarsoli.
“We believe Africa, especially Nigeria, has a vital voice in this global dialogue.”
What Makes K 2025 Special?
Held every three years, K Fair has evolved into more than just a trade show — it’s a hub for global collaboration, where governments, businesses, and thought leaders explore how plastics can support biodiversity, responsible production, and energy conservation.
For Sarsoli, this isn’t just another exhibition. Since their first showing in 2013, the company has used the opportunity to build partnerships, gain technical know-how, and expand exports to countries like Ghana, while also improving local production to reduce dependence on imports.
According to Itua Akhigbe, West African Representative for Messe Düsseldorf (organisers of K 2025):
“We’re piloting real-world solutions and fostering inclusive innovation. Sarsoli’s presence proves that K is a place where African innovation matters.”
What Will Sarsoli Showcase?
This year, Sarsoli will spotlight their latest advancements:
High-dispersion masterbatches that enhance the recyclability of plastic products
Digitalised production systems designed to cut energy use and waste
Recyclable additives aligned with global smart manufacturing standards
Locally produced calcium carbonate powder, replacing imports from Egypt and Turkey
These innovations reflect Sarsoli’s long-term commitment to a circular economy, where plastics are reused, recycled, and repurposed rather than wasted.
Why It Matters
The plastics and rubber industries are under increasing global pressure to clean up their act—literally. From reducing waste to embracing renewable processes, manufacturers are being held to higher environmental standards. K 2025 provides a space where solutions are not just discussed but demonstrated.
And in this conversation, Nigeria is no longer on the sidelines. It’s at the table.
🌍 Takeaway:
With Sarsoli Industries leading by example, Nigeria is proving that African innovation can drive meaningful global change. K 2025 is more than a trade fair — it’s a global stage, and Nigeria is ready to shine.
