NO CLUB, NO WORRIES: NWABALI OPTIMISTIC ABOUT FUTURE
Stanley Nwabali says he remains unbothered by being without a club at the moment.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper is currently a free agent after parting ways with South African side Chippa United. Nwabali has been linked with top South African club Kaizer Chiefs and is also reportedly attracting interest from several clubs in Libya.
His current inactivity could, however, affect his chances of featuring for the Super Eagles. The former Enyimba goalkeeper is not expected to be included in Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
Despite this, Nwabali expressed confidence that he would return to action soon, dispelling fears of a prolonged absence from the pitch.
“I’m not worried, yeah. I’m not worried… I don’t really have a specific country or club in mind. Anywhere that welcomes me, I can play. That’s it,” he told Soccerladuma.
