NOTTINGHAM FOREST’S SEAN DYCHE CAUTIOUS OVER OLA AINA’S RETURN FROM INJURY
Nottingham Forest head coach Sean Dyche has provided an update on the fitness of Ola Aina, who has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury while on international duty with Nigeria in September.
The injury has kept Aina out of action for 14 matches across all competitions, leaving a noticeable gap in the Forest defense. Recently, the Nigerian defender was pictured in training, fueling speculation that he could soon return to the pitch.
However, Dyche is taking a cautious approach. Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of Nottingham Forest’s UEFA Europa League clash against Malmo, he said:
“Ola Aina is not on the grass with us yet, he’s still going to take a bit of time.”
The Forest boss emphasized that Aina will be gradually eased back into action, prioritizing his long-term fitness over a rushed return. Fans will have to remain patient as the defender works toward a full recovery.
