NPFL: KANO PILLARS SIGN DEFENDER BENJAMIN OZOR FROM HEARTLAND
Ozor joins the Sai Masu Gida from Nigeria National League (NNL) side Heartland, as Pillars look to bolster their squad in hopes of challenging for honours when the new campaign gets underway.
The former NPFL champions announced Ozor’s arrival on Monday, describing him as a solid addition to their defensive setup.
This marks the start of what is expected to be a busy transfer window for Kano Pillars, who are targeting more signings to strengthen the team before the window closes.
Meanwhile, the club is still without a substantive head coach following the departure of Usman Abdallah in May. Reports suggest that Abia Warriors’ technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo, is currently the frontrunner to take over the hot seat.
Fans of the Sai Masu Gida will be eager to see how Ozor and any new additions gel with the squad, as Kano Pillars aim to bounce back to the top of Nigerian football in the coming season.
