His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I), alongside the Olubadan Advisory Council, has approved the immediate revocation of the appointments of two Mogajis in Ibadanland.

The two affected Mogajis are Chief Musilu Yekini Olaoye from Peluseriki Compound, Isale Osi, and Chief Rasaki Funso Ayinde Oguntobi from Oloola Ogungbesan Compound, Bode. This decision was made during the Olubadan Advisory Council’s plenary session on April 7, 2025.

The revocations come as a result of several factors, including their lack of support from their respective families, uncooperative behavior during the nomination process, and other actions considered harmful to their roles.

As part of the decision, the Olubadan has instructed both individuals to cease presenting themselves as Mogajis in Ibadanland with immediate effect.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
