Nigerian hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, has responded to allegations of misogyny.

The controversy arose from a verse in his 2023 collaborative hit Cast with Shallipopi, where he suggested that some women rely on transactional relationships to afford wigs and designer handbags.

Speaking in a recent interview with The Beat FM in Lagos, Odumodublvck dismissed the accusations, labeling them as “fake.”

He argued that his actions contradict the allegations, claiming he has shown more support for female artists than any of his peers over the past year.

“In the last year, I am the artist that has featured the most women in the game. What kind of misogynist is that? That’s a fake one,” he stated.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
