Ogun State Government has given the green light for the reconstruction of 11 additional roads across the state, reinforcing its commitment to infrastructure development. Governor Dapo Abiodun made the announcement during the State Executive Council Meeting held over the weekend.

The approved roads span various locations, enhancing connectivity and easing transportation for residents. The list includes:

📍 Iperu Junction to Ilishan Roundabout (Gateway International Airport Road) – 5.5km
📍 Imasayi-Igan Okoto-Ayetoro Road (Phase 2B) – 4km
📍 Imasayi (End of Phase 1) to Igan Okoto (Phase 2A) – 3km
📍 Gao Junction to Ibiade Road – 3.8km
📍 Abeokuta Obalende-Ijebu Ode – 2.75km
📍 Osinubi New Road (Araromi Street), Ijebu Ode – 1.1km
📍 Tam Balogun Road, Ijebu Ode – 0.85km
📍 Federal College Road, Odogbolu – 2.93km
📍 General Hospital – Aferiku Road, Ipokia – 2.8km
📍 Oke Erinja to Erinja to Ilobi Road (Phase 2) – 1.7km

Additionally, the government approved the construction of laybys and adjoining roads alongside the primary projects to further enhance traffic flow.

In a major development, Governor Abiodun also reaffirmed his promise to award the contract for the long-awaited Sango-Ijoko-Akute Road reconstruction within a week, signaling relief for commuters in the axis.
