OGUN STATE IGBO COMMUNITY DECLARES SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU AND SENATOR OLAMILEKAN YAYI AHEAD OF FUTURE POLITICAL CYCLES
Socio-cultural association pledges grassroots alignment with federal and state initiatives, citing inclusive governance and regional development projects in Ogun West and across the South-West
The Igbo community and socio-cultural leadership in Ogun State have formally declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
Speaking at an executive town hall and stakeholder meeting held in Abeokuta, representatives of the Igbo trading associations, traditional councils, and youth groups across the state praised the administration's economic policies and community-inclusive approach to governance.
The leadership of the group highlighted Senator Yayi's continuous facilitation of infrastructure projects, educational grants, and micro-business empowerment programs across Ogun State, noting that non-indigenous residents have benefited directly from these social intervention initiatives.
Emphasizing the importance of peaceful coexistence and economic integration, the group committed to mobilizing grassroots support across local government areas to sustain political stability, encourage civic participation, and foster business growth in the state.
Responding to the endorsement, representatives of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State commended the Igbo community for their civic alignment and ongoing contributions to the state's commercial vitality, reassuring them of continued partnership and security for all residents.
