Nigeria international Ola Aina is set to make his comeback for Nottingham Forest against Aston Villa on Saturday following a hamstring injury.

The 29-year-old sustained the injury while on international duty with Nigeria in September 2025. He returned to training in November, but head coach Sean Dyche chose not to rush his return to the pitch.

The injury also ruled Aina out of the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Aina has now been included in Forest’s squad for the upcoming match and has made three league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season.
