On March 28, 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu marked his 73rd birthday with a special Juma’ah prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja.  Following the prayers, he addressed reporters, emphasizing his dedication to the nation's peace and stability.  He stated, "I will continue to work hard and pray for the peace and stability of the nation."  The President expressed gratitude for the grace to witness his 73rd birthday, acknowledging the safety and welfare of citizens as paramount in his thoughts and prayers.  He reiterated that his guiding principles remain "hard work and hard prayers," drawing inspiration from the day's sermon.

The event was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Jubril Barau, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and other dignitaries.  The Imam of the National Mosque, Professor Muhammad Kabir Adam, led the prayers and commended the First Family for their charitable efforts during Ramadan.  He also urged continued prayers for the President and the nation's well-being.

President Tinubu's reaffirmation of his commitment underscores his ongoing focus on national development and the well-being of all Nigerians.
