The Ooni of Ife has paid glowing tribute to elder statesman and Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, describing him as a surviving pillar of wisdom, integrity and moral leadership in Nigeria.

The revered monarch praised Fasoranti for his lifelong commitment to justice, democracy and the progress of the Yoruba people, noting that his influence continues to inspire generations across the country.

According to the Ooni, the Afenifere leader has remained a symbol of courage, truth and principled leadership despite the many political and social changes Nigeria has witnessed over the years.

He stated that Fasoranti’s contributions to national development and the preservation of Yoruba values have earned him deep respect both within and outside the South-West region.

The monarch also commended the elder statesman for consistently promoting peace, unity and good governance, describing him as one of the few remaining voices of moral authority in the country.
