A senior pastor of Gracemade Christian Center, Seun Osigbesan, has publicly praised his wife, Nollywood actress Seun Osigbesan, for her sacrifices and support during a difficult period in their marriage.

Speaking at a church event marking her 40th birthday in a video now circulating online, the pastor said the actress single-handedly sustained the family financially for several years when he had no stable income.

He described her as consistent and supportive, noting that she never complained despite carrying the burden of household responsibilities for about seven years.

According to him, she continued to encourage him with positive words and affirmations even in the face of financial hardship.

He said she often reassured him of his future success, speaking words of faith and encouragement that helped him remain motivated during that period.

The pastor also recalled moments of extreme financial difficulty, including times when the family struggled to afford basic needs for their children.

He said there were periods when diapers were unavailable, and alternative materials were used temporarily to care for the children.

He also recounted that at one point, the family’s meals were limited to pap for breakfast, lunch, and dinner due to financial constraints.

Despite the challenges, he said his wife never criticised or demeaned him, but instead remained patient, supportive, and understanding throughout the period.

He described her as a strong and resilient woman whose faith and encouragement helped sustain the family during their most difficult moments.

Osigbesan, known for her role in the popular TV series The Johnsons, left the show in 2022 and was later ordained as a pastor in 2023, marking a shift in her spiritual journey.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
