Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), is set to lead a national prayer session in July to seek divine intervention for Nigeria’s ailing economy.

The prayer session, themed “Divine Intervention,” will be held during the RCCG’s monthly thanksgiving service at the church’s national headquarters in Oyingbo, Lagos.

This spiritual initiative comes at a time when many Nigerians are grappling with severe economic hardship and national uncertainty.

Speaking on Adeboye’s behalf, his Special Assistant on Administration, Pastor Dele Balogun, emphasized that the country’s challenges can be overcome through faith and prayer.
“Our nation, Nigeria, like many others, is facing difficult times. But the encouraging news is that these challenges can be conquered if we remain steadfast in faith and avoid doubt,” he said.

Adeboye urged Nigerians to reject negative confessions and embrace faith and optimism, stressing that divine intervention has the power to turn the economic situation around.

The prayer session, he added, is aimed at inspiring national transformation and unlocking divine opportunities for progress.

Echoing this message, Pastor Olusegun Macaulay, RCCG Assistant Pastor in Charge of Province 1, noted that divine opportunities are revealed by God to those who are spiritually alert.

He also disclosed that a team of intercessors has been consistently praying for Nigeria’s economy, environment, and stability throughout the latter half of the year.
