Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle has expressed pride in his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, for the way she has built her career while carrying the Doyle name.

Patrick, who discussed his relationship with Ireti in a recent interview on ‘Wake Up Nigeria’, praised her professionalism and achievements since their divorce in January 2023.

Speaking about her success in the entertainment industry, he said:

“I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her. And so far, she hasn’t disgraced the Doyle name. She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements in the industry.”

The veteran actor also revealed that he prefers to remain silent rather than say anything negative about Ireti, reflecting his respect for her as both a professional and an individual.
