A governorship aspirant in Plateau has emerged as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after securing victory in the party’s primary election.

Following his emergence, the candidate pledged to serve only one term if elected governor, describing the promise as part of his commitment to inclusive leadership and political stability in the state.

He thanked party delegates and supporters for their confidence in his candidacy, while calling for unity among party members ahead of the general election.

The aspirant also outlined plans to focus on governance, infrastructure development, security, and economic growth if given the opportunity to lead the state.
