The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed confidence that Plateau State will deliver no fewer than one million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Yilwatda attributed this projection to the APC’s growing strength in the state and the weakening of opposition political structures.

He made the assertion on Tuesday during an APC stakeholders’ meeting for the Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency, held in Pankshin, Plateau State.

According to him, the party is now significantly stronger in Plateau than it was during the 2023 elections, noting that key political figures who previously opposed the APC have since aligned with the ruling party.

“All the challenges we faced in 2023 are no longer there. Those who worked against us then are now with us, including the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, commissioners, local government chairmen and other political appointees. With this level of unity, Plateau will deliver one million votes for Mr President,” Yilwatda said.

He further described the PKK Federal

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
