The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, brother of Big Brother Naija stars Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe, who was earlier declared missing, has been found.

Deputy spokesperson of the Command, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, revealed in a statement that Odera was reported missing after he left his Victoria Island residence on September 1, 2025, driving his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible, and failed to return home. His family officially lodged a missing person report at the Victoria Island Police Division on September 3, 2025.

Following the report, the Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, ordered a discreet investigation. Acting on intelligence and assistance from members of the public, police operatives traced Odera to the Mile 2 area of Lagos.

He was found alive but in a distressed state, reunited with his family, and is now receiving medical care and support. The missing vehicle was also successfully recovered.

The Lagos State Police Command commended the swift collaboration between security operatives and well-meaning citizens that led to Odera’s recovery. The Commissioner of Police further urged Lagosians to always report such incidents promptly to aid timely intervention.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
