POLICE RECOVER HIJACKED TANKER, LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR SUSPECTS IN OYO

Police in Oyo State have recovered a hijacked fuel tanker and launched a manhunt for suspects involved in the armed theft incident.

According to security sources, the tanker was intercepted by suspected criminals while in transit along a major route in the state.

Following a swift response, operatives tracked and recovered the vehicle, though the suspects fled the scene before they could be apprehended.

The police said efforts are ongoing to arrest those involved and dismantle any criminal network linked to the hijacking.
