Controversial singer Portable has turned down a N50 million proposal to face popular streamer Carter Efe in a celebrity boxing match, insisting the offer be increased with the addition of a luxury car valued at N300 million.

The proposal was made by music executive Soso Soberekon during a recent livestream session with Carter Efe, who immediately accepted and urged that arrangements be made for the date and venue.

Responding in a video broadcast, Portable flatly rejected the N50 million purse, stating that he would only agree to the bout if the total reward was raised to N350 million through the inclusion of the high-end vehicle.

The singer expressed strong confidence in defeating Carter Efe should his conditions be met, citing his previous victories in celebrity boxing matches against Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.

“Soso, N50 million is too small. Add a N300 million car to make it N350 million, and I will beat Carter Efe mercilessly. I’m the same person who defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington,” Portable declared.

Soso Soberekon has yet to publicly respond to Portable’s demand.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
