PRESIDENT TINUBU APPROVES MAJOR ROAD RECONSTRUCTION IN EKITI STATE

President Bola Tinubu has given approval for the reconstruction of the Ado-Ijan-Ilumoba-Ikole Road in Ekiti State, a key infrastructure project expected to ease transportation and boost economic activities in the region.

The initiative forms part of the Federal Government’s ongoing efforts to rehabilitate critical roads across the country. The project will be funded through the 2026 budget and executed to international standards, addressing long-standing complaints about the road’s poor condition.

Ekiti State officials and residents have welcomed the development, describing it as a significant boost to connectivity between major towns and agricultural communities. The road is vital for the movement of farm produce, trade, and daily commuting.
