The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the party’s presidential primary election.

In a statement issued on Friday by the state chairman, the Abia APC described Tinubu’s victory as a resounding endorsement of his leadership and a reflection of the confidence party members have in his ability to lead Nigeria.

The party praised the peaceful and orderly manner in which the primary was conducted across the state and commended delegates for their loyalty and discipline.

“We wholeheartedly congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his well-deserved victory. This outcome reaffirms his position as the undisputed leader of our great party,” the statement said.

The Abia APC pledged its unwavering support for Tinubu and assured him of total commitment from the state chapter as preparations begin for the 2027 general elections. The party also called on all members to remain united and work towards strengthening the APC in Abia State.

Political stakeholders in the state view the congratulatory message as a sign of renewed commitment by the Abia APC to align fully with the national leadership ahead of future polls.

President Tinubu is expected to use his victory at the primary as a platform to consolidate support across all zones as he seeks re-election in 2027.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
