Prestige Assurance Plc has taken steps to help shareholders recover outstanding dividends as the insurer published its list of unclaimed dividends on its website.

The company said the list was published online because of the large number of affected shareholders. It urged those with outstanding payments to contact First Registrars & Investors Services Limited to process their claims.

Prestige Assurance also advised shareholders to update their records, particularly their bank account details, with the registrar to make dividend payments easier.

The insurer further encouraged shareholders who had not completed their e-Dividend mandate to do so, saying the move would help reduce the volume of unpaid dividends.

Meanwhile, shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting in Lagos approved its audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, alongside other board and auditor reports.

The shareholders also approved the appointment of Umesh Rathod as Managing Director and Abhinandan Singh as Executive Director, while the appointment of Seetharaman Sivasankar as a Non-Executive Director remains subject to regulatory approval.

The development highlights the insurer’s efforts to improve shareholder engagement and ensure that investors receive dividends due to them.
