PRISCILLA OJO SPEAKS ON MARRIAGE, SAYS SHE TRUSTS HUSBAND JUMA JUX DESPITE FAME PRESSURE
Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has shared her thoughts on trust and loyalty in marriage, saying she believes her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, will remain faithful despite the pressures that come with celebrity life.
Speaking during an interview on WithChude, hosted by Chude Jideonwo, Priscilla addressed common concerns about infidelity in the entertainment industry and explained that her relationship is built on trust and discipline.
She said that while fame often brings constant attention from fans and admirers, she believes personal values play a major role in maintaining loyalty in relationships.
“If he decides to go that route (cheat), it is his decision. But I trust him. He’s very disciplined,” she said.
Priscilla acknowledged that public figures are often surrounded by temptation but insisted that commitment and self-control are key in a successful marriage.
“Of course, it’s not easy with women throwing themselves, but it’s his discipline and decision… if you are both prayerful and your man is disciplined and knows what he wants, I feel he will be in charge,” she added.
Priscilla and Juma Jux’s relationship has remained in the spotlight since they went public, drawing attention across Nigeria and Tanzania. The couple’s romance reportedly began after they met in Rwanda and gradually developed into a serious relationship.
Their union later led to a series of elaborate wedding ceremonies tagged #JP2025, held in both Lagos and Tanzania, blending Nigerian and East African traditions. The celebrations attracted celebrities, family members, and fans, with clips and photos widely shared online.
Since getting married, the couple has continued to share moments from their life, including travels and personal milestones, further strengthening their public image as one of the most talked-about celebrity couples in recent times.
Priscilla also used the interview to reflect on her upbringing, praising her mother, Iyabo Ojo, for raising her and her brother singlehandedly and instilling strong values that continue to guide her life and relationships.
