PRP DENIES FACTIONAL CLAIMS, WARNS AGAINST INFILTRATION
The People's Redemption Party (PRP) has dismissed reports suggesting internal divisions within the party, insisting that it remains united and focused ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party said claims of a factional group known as the “PRP-Vanguard Collective” were false and aimed at distracting its growing political influence.
Speaking in a statement issued in Abuja, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, described the reports as baseless and politically motivated.
He said those behind the claims were unknown to the party leadership and had no legitimacy within its structure.
According to him, the emergence of such reports at a time when the party is gaining attention is suspicious and intended to undermine its progress.
He said the party will not be distracted by propaganda, intimidation, or attempts to create confusion within its ranks.
The spokesperson added that PRP remains focused and prepared to withstand both genuine and manufactured political attacks.
He maintained that the party’s growth and increasing relevance in national politics have made it a target for external interference.
Ishaq also stressed that the party’s history shows resilience, noting that it has survived decades of political turbulence and military rule.
He reaffirmed that the PRP will continue to advance its ideals and strengthen its structures across the country.
He said the party remains committed to its members and supporters, adding that no amount of distraction will slow its progress.
The statement concluded that PRP will continue its political activities undeterred as preparations intensify toward the next general elections.
