PSG SIGN SUPER FALCONS CAPTAIN RASHEEDAT AJIBADE ON FREE TRANSFER
French women’s football powerhouse, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has completed the signing of Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old winger sealed the move after ending her five-year spell with Atletico Madrid, where she won the Supercopa de España and the Copa de la Reina.
Ajibade now becomes the second Nigerian at PSG, joining fellow Super Falcons star Jennifer Echegini, who has already made her mark at the club.
Having started her professional career in Norway with Avaldsnes IL, where she scored 12 goals in 39 appearances, Ajibade has steadily grown into one of Africa’s top talents.
On the international stage, she led the Super Falcons to victory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and was crowned Player of the Tournament.
PSG fans will now be looking forward to seeing Ajibade’s pace, creativity, and leadership light up the D’Arkema league, as the Nigerian star adds more strength to an already talented squad.
