PUBLIC NOTICE: APPLICATION FOR AN OFF-GRID GENERATION LICENCE PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 65 AND 71(2) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 2023

CCk Electric Power Technology Company Limited, whose office is situated at KLM 4, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Sagamu, Ogun State, hereby gives notice that it has applied to the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), headquartered at Plot 1387, Cadastral Zone A00, Central Business District, Abuja, for an Off-Grid Generation Licence.

The application seeks approval for a 3MW gas-fired power plant located at 1.5KL, Agbedi Village, Owode, Obafemi Local Government Area, Ogun State, with the coordinates 767°11’ 9.67”N, 559°827.389mE. The power generated from this facility is intended to supply electricity to GJ Halcyon Company Limited.

Public Participation and Submission of Objections

Interested members of the public, stakeholders, and concerned parties are invited to submit any objections to this application. Objections must be in accordance with the provisions of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act (Licences Regulations 2010) and the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (Business Rules of the Commission) Regulations 2006.

All objections or comments must be submitted within 21 days from the date of this publication to:
