The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has clarified the political position of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, stating that he has not endorsed any political party or candidate.

The church issued the clarification following reports and social media claims suggesting that Adeboye had thrown his support behind a particular political group ahead of future elections.

According to RCCG, the respected cleric remains non-partisan and has consistently encouraged members to participate responsibly in the democratic process without directing them toward any specific party.

The church emphasized that Pastor Adeboye’s messages are centered on spiritual guidance, national unity, peace, and good governance rather than partisan politics.

RCCG also urged the public to disregard misleading claims and verify information through official church communication channels before sharing it.

The clarification comes amid increasing political activities and endorsements ahead of the 2027 election cycle in Nigeria.

Church leaders reiterated their commitment to praying for the nation and promoting peaceful coexistence among Nigerians regardless of political affiliation.
