Red Circle, a Nollywood crime thriller, is set to captivate audiences with its global theatrical release beginning June 6, 2025. Produced by Rixel Studios, this film boasts an impressive ensemble of Nollywood's finest talent, delivering a gripping narrative that intertwines suspense, action, and an unflinching exploration of power and corruption in contemporary Lagos.
The story follows investigative journalist Fikayo Holloway, portrayed by Folu Storms, as she delves into a labyrinth of secrets linked to a formidable crime syndicate operating within the bustling Lagos metropolis. Her quest for the truth leads her to a shadowy businessman orchestrating a dark web of corruption, wealth, drugs, and murder. However, unveiling his sinister operations comes with perilous consequences that endanger not only her life but also the lives of her loved ones.
With breathtaking cinematography and pulse-pounding action, Red Circle is poised to become a landmark in Nollywood cinema. Director Akay Mason emphasizes, “Red Circle is more than just a thriller; it’s a poignant tale about truth, power, and the dangers that come with exposing secrets that some would kill to protect.”

Directed by Akay Mason (known for Elevator Baby and Superstar) and written by Abdul Tijani-Ahmed (creator of Brotherhood and Skinny Girl In Transit), Red Circle features a powerhouse cast that includes Bukky Wright, Timini Egbuson, Tobi Bakre, Lateef Adedimeji, Femi Branch, Omowunmi Dada, Mike Afolarin, Ruggedman, and Debo Macaroni, among others.
