REGINA DANIELS SUBMITS TO DRUG TEST AMID SUBSTANCE ABUSE ALLEGATIONS

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has presented herself for a drug test following weeks of controversy surrounding allegations of substance abuse.

The actress shared a video on her Instagram page showing herself at a hospital, where she revealed she was about to undergo the test. “Hi guys, so I’m here at the hospital. I’m about to run my drug test,” she said in the clip.

The development comes nearly three months after her husband, politician Senator Ned Nwoko, accused her of abusing substances amid their ongoing marital dispute.

In October 2025, Regina had publicly accused Nwoko of domestic violence and abuse—claims he strongly denied. In response, the senator alleged that the actress struggled with substance abuse, insisting he possessed her medical records to support his claims.

The situation escalated further when Regina’s co-wife, Laila Charani, weighed in on the matter, alleging that the actress introduced her to drugs during their time together.

As the controversy gained traction online, an alleged medical report from Serenity Royale Hospital surfaced, claiming Regina’s system contained toxic levels of marijuana, morphine, opiates, cocaine, and alcohol.

However, Serenity Royale Hospital swiftly distanced itself from the circulating document, denying any involvement in leaking Regina’s laboratory results. In a statement, the hospital said the report did not originate from them and urged the public to disregard the information.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
