Real Madrid are on the verge of securing the signing of promising centre-back Dean Huijsen, as the player's representatives are currently in Madrid to finalise talks on personal terms.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday via X that both clubs have reached an agreement, with Real Madrid prepared to activate the £50 million release clause in three instalments.

“Understand Dean Huijsen’s camp has landed in Madrid to close the deal with Real,” he reported.

Talks are still underway concerning the duration of Dean Huijsen’s contract, with a five-year agreement currently being considered.

“Length of the contract being discussed with 5 year deal on the table.

“Deal done club to club for £50m clause to be paid in 3 installments, player’s contract being sorted,” Romano added.
