Turkish football analyst and Galatasaray insider, Serdar Ali Çelikler, has predicted that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen will ultimately join Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.

Çelikler stated that unless Al Hilal backs out of the race, Osimhen is likely to make the switch to the Saudi Pro League side. This comes amid ongoing transfer speculations linking the Napoli forward with Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United.

While Manchester United have reportedly held internal talks about possibly signing Osimhen, Chelsea, who were strongly linked with the striker last summer, have remained relatively quiet on the matter this time around.

Osimhen, who has been a standout performer with 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray, is reportedly a top target for Al Hilal.

Speaking on the Neo Spor YouTube channel, via Habersarikirmizi, Çelikler said:

“Unless Al Hilal withdraws its offer, Victor Osimhen will go there. Galatasaray can’t afford to pay him €35 million per year. If he stays at Galatasaray for €20 million, we’ll applaud him. He has about a week to 10 days to decide.”

Reports indicate that Al Hilal has presented Osimhen with a lucrative deal worth €30 million annually (approximately ₦54 billion).

However, Nigerian sports journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, popularly known as Buchi Laba, disclosed recently that Osimhen had already declined an offer from the Saudi club.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
