SANWO-OLU CONGRATULATES OLUSI ON BABA ADINI INSTALLATION

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated the Chairman of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council, Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, following his installation as Baba Adini of Yorubaland.

Sanwo-Olu described the recognition as an honour that acknowledged Olusi’s years of leadership and contributions to the community. He conveyed his message in a post on his official X account on Saturday.

Olusi, 90, is a longstanding figure in Lagos public life and currently chairs the state’s Governor’s Advisory Council.

The installation was conducted by the Yoruba Land Council of Islamic Preachers as part of activities marking Olusi’s 90th birthday. The ceremony was held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu congratulated Olusi on the recognition and wished him continued strength and wisdom.

Olusi has previously received traditional recognition, including his installation as Atobatele of Ado-Ekiti by the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, in March 2025.
