Asisat Oshoala has expressed confidence that Al-Hilal can maintain their strong momentum after making a bright start to the new season.

Al-Hilal kicked off the 2025/26 Saudi Arabia Premier League campaign with a dramatic 4-3 win over Al-Qadsiah on Friday night.

Oshoala, who marked her debut for the club in the encounter, scored the team’s third goal from the penalty spot.

The Nigerian international played the entire match in what turned out to be an exciting contest.

“It’s only the beginning, the first game of the season, and we hope to keep building on this as a team,” Oshoala said after the match.

The forward joined Al-Hilal last month from Bay FC in the Nigeria Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
