SCAC INTRODUCES THE SMALL GRANTS PROGRAMME FOR 2025.
The Department of Cooperation and Cultural Action (SCAC) initiates the Small Grants Programme campaign to support civil society and foster the development of innovative projects aligned with the department's core values.
The projects should focus on one or more of the following themes:
- Ocean (marine health, biodiversity)
- Sports
- Cultural and Creative Industries
- Francophonie
- Youth Support
Health
Chosen projects will receive funding of up to 85% of the total project cost, with a maximum limit of 5,000 euros. The project must be carried out between August 2025 and May 17, 2026.
Any project within the scope of the Department of Cooperation and Cultural Action in Castries is eligible. The eligible countries are as follows:
- Antigua and Barbuda
- Barbados
- Dominica
- Grenada
- Guyana
- Jamaica
- Saint Kitts and Nevis
- Saint Lucia
- Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
- Suriname
- Trinidad and Tobago
Project holders must belong to one of the following categories: Associations, NGOs, Non-profit Organizations, Cooperatives, Communities, or Private companies (for nonprofit projects only).
For private companies: Please note that only nonprofit projects are eligible.
Project holders who have previously received funding from earlier campaigns of this Small Grant Programme may apply for a second grant, provided that the technical and financial final report for the prior project has been submitted and positively evaluated by the SCAC. Project holders cannot receive funding more than twice, even if the project's theme is different.
Ineligible Projects:
- Infrastructure construction projects
- Economic projects with a purely profit-driven nature.
