A recent undersea expedition off the coast of Chile has led to the discovery of a possible 60 new species of marine life. On a 55-day expedition from Valparaíso to Punta Arenas, researchers from the Schmidt Ocean Institute surveyed nearly 20 methane seep ecosystems and four previously unseen submarine canyon systems. Stunning footage captured their findings.
