The Nigerian Army has rescued at least 11 kidnapped victims and arrested several terror suspects during coordinated nationwide operations conducted within 24 hours.

In Borno State, troops arrested a suspected ISWAP/JAS logistics courier in Ngamdu, who reportedly supported insurgents operating in Gubio and Magumeri.

Further arrests were made in Monguno, where two suspected collaborators linked to a terrorist kingpin were apprehended. Recovered items included phones, uniforms, and cash.

In Bauchi State, troops rescued six kidnapped victims, while in Yobe State, a truck carrying undisclosed medical supplies meant for illegal cross-border movement was intercepted.

Operations extended to the North-West, where a suspected drug peddler was arrested in Katsina State, and in Zamfara State, troops rescued two abducted NDLEA personnel and apprehended a terrorist.

In Plateau State, soldiers thwarted cattle rustling, recovering 92 cattle and rescuing an injured herder.

Additional operations in the Federal Capital Territory uncovered illegal mining activities, while in Rivers State, illegal oil refining sites were destroyed.

A suspected kidnapper was also arrested in Edo State as part of joint security efforts.

The Army reaffirmed its commitment to national security, urging citizens to provide credible intelligence to aid ongoing operations.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
