Renowned Nigerian gospel artist Shola Allyson has officially signed with Sony Music Publishing Nigeria.

The global music giant shared the news in an Instagram post on Friday evening, stating, “We are happy to announce that the legendary Shola Allyson is joining the SMP (Sony Music Publishing) family.”

Shola Allyson also confirmed the announcement through a video posted on her Instagram page, where she expressed her excitement about the new partnership.

“Hello everyone, my name is Shola Allyson. I’m so excited, grateful, happy, and full of good feelings to announce my new signing with Sony Music Publishing Nigeria,” she said.

Looking ahead, the singer added, “I know great things have happened before, but I’m expecting even greater opportunities and new collaborations.”

Her signing comes just a week after legendary highlife musician Bright Chimezie also joined the Sony Music Publishing label.
