Nigerian stars Tems and Burna Boy have surpassed South African group Seether to become the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100.

Previously tied at seven entries each, the duo added new hits this week thanks to their features on J. Cole’s album The Fall-Off. Tems appeared on “Bounce Road Blues” with Future, which debuted at No. 34, while Burna Boy featured on “Only You,” debuting at No. 78. These new entries bring their totals to eight each, the highest ever for African artists.

Tems has now secured three Billboard Hot 100 entries this year alone: “Raindance” with Dave, “What You Need,” and the latest, “Bounce Road Blues.” She currently holds the record for the most Hot 100 entries by any African artist in 2026.

Burna Boy, meanwhile, has made history as the first African artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive years. His Hot 100 entries include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and Only You (2026).
