TEYANA TAYLOR ATTENDS KING’S TRUST GALA IN CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN AND MAISON MARGIELA X XRISMARTEEN BOOTS
Teyana Taylor made a stylish appearance at the King’s Trust Gala in New York City on Thursday, wearing a curated mix of high-end fashion. She opted for a striking David Koma zebra-print trench coat—complete with a detachable shoulder overlay, which she kept on for added flair. The vibrant, midi-length coat was cinched at the waist with a bold Schiaparelli belt, featuring a sculptural gold buckle and surrealist-inspired charms, including a dangling ear. Adding to the whimsical touch, Taylor accessorized with a mismatched pair of Schiaparelli earrings that brought subtle hints of blue to her overall look. Her outfit was completed with standout boots from a collaboration between Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela.
Complementing her zebra-print coat, Taylor stepped out in stiletto boots from the recent Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela collaboration, released earlier this year. She wore the Xrismarteen style, described on Louboutin’s website as “illustrating the memory of gesture through a hand-distressed effect.” Crafted from nappa leather, the boots feature a pointed toe and a sleek 100 mm heel.
Taylor isn’t the only star embracing the capsule collection’s avant-garde aesthetic. Jenna Ortega also wore a pair from the line, showcasing the decortiqué design technique, which reveals the inner construction of the shoes. She opted for the Bilougiela pump during a March screening of Death of a Unicorn.
