Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime turned 34 recently and marked the occasion with a heartfelt reflection on Instagram. In a long post, she bid farewell to chapter 33, describing it as a year of transitions filled with valuable lessons.

She expressed gratitude for the past year, highlighting the wisdom, blessings, and personal growth—spiritual, mental, and emotional—that she experienced. Nancy also appreciated the sense of self-awareness, emotional maturity, and discernment that 33 brought her, noting that it taught her how to surrender and let go.

In her message to her new chapter, she shared her excitement for what lies ahead:

“Dear 33,
When I called you my ‘Jesus Year,’ I’m sure God smiled because the only thing that didn’t happen was being hung on a cross. Back-to-back lessons—even those that didn’t concern me—came my way. Truly a transitional year, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Thank you for the wisdom, blessings, and lessons. Thank you for the spiritual, mental, and emotional growth. Thank you for the incredible seeds planted. Most importantly, thank you for bringing me greater self-awareness, emotional maturity, and discernment. Thank you for bringing me closer to myself and teaching me how to surrender and truly let God! I will never forget you.

Reflecting on previous birthdays, Nancy celebrated her 33rd by counting her blessings, including acquiring a new mansion, a goal she had pursued since the age of 17. For her 32nd birthday, she followed her tradition of giving back, commissioning and donating a library and other resources to a school in Lagos.
