“THANK YOU JESUS!” – DAREY SURVIVES CAR FIRE, SHARES POWERFUL MESSAGE
Nigerian music star and songwriter, Darey Art Alade, has revealed that his vehicle was completely destroyed in a fire incident that occurred on the 3rd Mainland Bridge.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Saturday morning, Darey showed the charred remains of the car and recounted the ordeal.
“Yesterday, around 4pm, our car went up in flames on the 3rd Mainland Bridge and was completely gutted,” he wrote. “It was a shocking and painful experience, but we are deeply thankful that the driver escaped unharmed. No lives were lost — and that’s what truly matters.”
Darey used the incident as a moment to reflect on the fragility of life and the insignificance of material possessions in the grand scheme of things.
“Moments like this remind us how quickly life can change and how material things pale in comparison to the value of life,” he shared.
Clarifying that his post was not a cry for sympathy, the singer said his intention was to uplift anyone experiencing personal loss.
“We’re not sharing this for pity,” he noted. “But to remind someone out there that material things can always be replaced — lives cannot. We are choosing gratitude — for safety, perspective, and the quiet strength to move forward.”
Offering encouragement to those facing adversity, Darey added, “If you’re dealing with a sudden loss of any kind, let this be a reminder: you can rebuild. You can start over. One breath, one prayer, one step at a time.”
He ended his post on a grateful note: “In all things, we give thanks. 💛 THANK YOU, JESUS!!! And heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped to help 🙏🏽”
