Street-hop singer Portable has taken to social media to plead with Grammy-winning star Burna Boy for a feature after revealing that the ₦20 million gift he earlier received from him has been spent.

Recall that Burna Boy gifted Portable the cash after his viral celebrity boxing match with Speed Darlington, which he won.

In a new video, Portable lamented that the money had finished and said he would prefer a collaboration over monetary handouts.

“I don spend that 20 million finish, I prefer featuring. Make una help my life. All my fans dey ask for featuring. Feature me, we go collect Grammy. You big pass Davido…” Portable said.

The singer’s plea has sparked mixed reactions online:

@damtosfashion: “Portable is not a serious man. Okay, what has he produced with the 20 million Burna Boy gifted him?”

@bobotically: “Lol, the man don dey seek another attention. Make we dey expect am to drop another album?”

@RealHizzay: “Bros comot all this iron for your body make electricity no shock you ooo, sha no waka inside rain cuz if thunder strike ahhh.”

@inis_heritage: “Lol. He wants to eat his cake and have it. Dirty, lousy thing.”

Portable’s latest request comes as he continues to position himself for bigger recognition in the Nigerian music industry.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
