The entertainment world is mourning the loss of Kelley Mack, the talented actress best known for her role as Addy in The Walking Dead. She passed away at the age of 33 after bravely battling a rare brain tumour known as glioma of the central nervous system.
Kelley, born Kelley Klebenow, died on Saturday in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, surrounded by loved ones. Her passing has sparked an outpouring of grief and heartfelt tributes from fans, co-stars, and friends alike.
Throughout her career, Mack appeared in several well-loved TV shows, including Chicago Med, where she played Penelope Jacobs. Her strong on-screen presence and emotional depth quickly made her a fan favourite. She also thrived in commercial and voice-over work, lending her talent to major brands and campaigns.
Her The Walking Dead co-star Alanna Masterson described Mack as an “incredible human,” saying she felt lucky to have worked with her.
Two memorials have been planned in her honour: one at the Glendale Lyceum in Ohio on August 16, 2025, and a celebration of life event in Los Angeles to commemorate her artistic contributions and beautiful spirit.
