Nollywood actress Jemima Osunde has shared some blunt advice for women who believe their only path to comfort is marrying a wealthy man.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, the actress questioned why some ladies feel entitled to men’s money without being willing to work for their own.

She stressed that such a mindset is unrealistic, especially given the current economic climate.

“Wetin do your own ass? You don’t want to work? In this economy? It’s like some of you think we’re still living in Bible times,” she wrote.

According to Osunde, there simply aren’t enough billionaires in the world to sustain the fantasy that every woman can become a rich man’s housewife. Instead, she urged women to pursue productive ventures and build financial independence rather than waiting for a wealthy partner to provide for them.

Her tough-love message has sparked conversations online, with many praising her for challenging entitled mindsets and promoting self-reliance among young women.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
