CBS Sports pundit Thierry Henry has praised Arsenal, calling them the most solid team in Europe, following their 3-1 UEFA Champions League victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

The Premier League leaders secured the win at the Emirates Stadium thanks to goals from Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke, and Gabriel Martinelli, handing Vincent Kompany’s side a tough defeat.

Speaking after the match, Henry highlighted Arsenal’s tactical discipline and counter-attacking prowess:

“They [Arsenal] play smart. They don’t overplay when they are in their own half. They tend to go long when they know mistakes can happen, and it worked out. They scored on the counter-attack and also exploited Bayern trying to overplay.”

He added that Arsenal’s performance was particularly impressive considering their recent schedule:

“I thought it was a good game from Arsenal: solid, especially after the weekend and with what is coming also this weekend. I would like to say they are the most solid team in Europe at the moment.”

Arsenal’s commanding display against one of Europe’s elite sides reinforces their position at the top of the Premier League and underscores their growing reputation as a force in continental football.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
