THREE ABDUCTED INDIVIDUALS RESCUED BY POLICE IN EKITI
The Ekiti State Police Command has announced the successful rescue of three individuals who were abducted from Oko Aso Farm in Ikere Ekiti.
The abduction reportedly took place on Friday, August 1, 2025.
According to the police, the victims — identified as drivers Kunle Aka Orojo and Deji Akinola, along with a motor boy, Ojo Oluwole — were rescued unharmed.
The Divisional Police Officer of Ilupeju, under the Ikere Ekiti Division, revealed that the victims’ freedom was secured through a coordinated bush-combing operation. The effort involved a joint team made up of the Rapid Response Squad, Anti-Kidnapping Squad, regular patrol units, and other supporting forces.
All three victims have since been reunited with their families. Meanwhile, security personnel remain on the trail of those responsible for the kidnapping.
