President Bola Tinubu arrived Monday at Yola International Airport to inaugurate several projects executed by the Governor Ahmadu Fintiri administration.

The projects include model schools built across the 21 local government areas of the state, each comprising pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary sections, with sports complexes and other learning facilities.

Other projects set for commissioning include an eight-lane underpass bridge on Galadima Aminu Road connecting Gimba to the state capital, a new multipurpose hall, a remodelled high court, a newly built officers’ complex, and a new Government House office complex.

Following the inauguration, President Tinubu is scheduled to meet with top government officials and traditional leaders in the state. Students, residents, and other stakeholders were reported to have lined major roads to welcome him.

The visit, occurring less than 48 hours after Tinubu’s trip to Kebbi State, was announced Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement titled “President Tinubu to visit Yola, interact with leaders, inaugurate completed projects.”

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
