TINUBU DIRECTS SECURITY AGENCIES TO ARREST KILLERS OF SHEIKH YAHAYA MASUSSUKA

President Bola Tinubu has directed security agencies to track down those responsible for killing Islamic preacher Sheikh Yahaya Ibrahim Masussuka and his friend, Adamu Abubakar, in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State.

The two men were killed in a drive-by shooting on Monday evening.

In a statement issued by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu condemned the attack, describing it as a heinous act that violated the values of peace and respect for human life.

He instructed the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant security agencies to strengthen the investigation already underway by the Katsina State Police Command and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The president also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, their followers, and the government and people of Katsina State.

He prayed for the repose of the souls of the two men and comfort for those mourning their deaths.
