President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom in Lagos State, on his 50th birthday.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised the monarch’s leadership qualities and contributions to community development.

Tinubu commended Oba Elegushi for what he described as his ability to balance tradition with modern governance approaches, particularly through initiatives in agriculture and skills development within his domain.

He also recalled the monarch’s past roles during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State, noting his dedication, empathy, and service orientation.

The President prayed for long life, good health, and continued impactful service for the traditional ruler.

Oba Elegushi, who ascended the throne of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, is widely regarded as one of Lagos’ prominent traditional rulers, with influence spanning cultural leadership and community development initiatives.
